How it works for candidates
Please visit our active searches for position that meet your preferences. For providers that do not find a position that suits your needs, Comhar Consulting Group will develop a direct marketing campaign specifically geared to the job specifications you are seeking. We will never ask for an exclusive commitment but we do require your cooperation. Here are the steps we take to develop a direct marketing campaign.
1. Who are you?
The first step is to learn all about your practice preferences. We build a comprehensive profile that includes your preferences for:
- Type of employment (group practice, hospital employed, academic, etc.…)
- Compensation structure
- Procedures performed and case volume
- Call requirements
- Acceptable conditions for group dynamics
2. Where do you want to go?
Concurrent with learning all about your practice preferences, we will also take a deeper dive into the geographical profile you seek which includes your preferences for:
- Type of market (Metropolitan, Suburban, Rural)
- Specific cities and states that are desirable
- Family requirements (schools, community activities, etc.….)
- Religious or faith based requirements
- Cultural and entertainment attractions
- Quality of living standards
****Steps one and two can be done over a short phone consultation. Once a confidential provider profile is complete we will send you a copy for approval. No information is marketed without your prior consent and we keep in touch with you through every step of the process.
3. Here’s how we get there
A comprehensive marketing plan is developed based on the first two steps. We will identify all the potential practices that meet the practice and geographical profile you described. Your confidential provider profile will be sent to practice leaders, physician recruiters, and group administrators in a three to four step process.
- Direct mail
- Direct telephone contact
- Face-to-face visits (when and where necessary)
While we never guarantee a successful placement, our process usually takes 4 to 8 weeks and identifies both passive and active hiring managers. We do the heavy lifting that creates more opportunities for your credentials to get in front of the right people.
4. Pack your bags
In many cases relocation is a part of the placement process. Comhar Consulting Group has strategic partnerships with Realtors and Corporate Housing Locators in every market we serve. After your contract is signed, we don’t just disappear. We will help you every step of the way to ensure you (and your family) have a seamless process.
